UConn’s MS in FinTech program attracts a diverse group of talented, visionary students from around the globe and from different educational backgrounds like finance, technology, business, management, engineering, analytics and more. Students will learn the skills needed to thrive in the fintech industry, hone their expertise, and collaborate with like-minded peers to discover the next great breakthrough in financial technology.
Apply to the UConn MS FinTech Program in 6 Easy Steps
1. Access Your Online Application Account
First-time users will need to create a new online account in our application system via the "Apply Now" button. Returning users can use their designated email and password to log in.
2. Take & Submit Your Official GMAT/ GRE Scores (Optional)
The GMAT and/or GRE is not required for admission. If you have already taken the exam, the official standardized test scores can be submitted to UConn electronically.
3. Write Your Essay
We require a personal essay for the MS FinTech program. The essay prompt is in the application itself. You may log in and out of your application as many times as you need to in order to complete your application!
4. Upload your unofficial transcript
For application review purposes, we only require an unofficial copy of your transcript. If admitted, we will then need your official transcript sent directly from your institution.
5. Demonstrate your professional capabilities
Upload your current resume in your online application so we can learn more about your background.
6. Submit your application
Once you have completed all necessary fields and submitted all required documents, you are ready to pay your non-refundable $75 application fee and formally submit your application!

Tuition and Fees
2021-2022: $1,500/credit
36 Total Credits (21 Core, 15 Elective)
MS in FinTech Degree Tuition: $54,000
We charge the same tuition for all FinTech students, no matter where you call home.
A non-refundable $500 Deposit will be required upon acceptance of admission.
Financial Assistance
Matriculated students are eligible for financial assistance through UConn’s Office of Student Financial Aid Services.
